The continuous stretch bending straightening machine combines the characteristics of the continuous tension straightening machine and the roller straightening machine, which is the process of plastic extension of the strip under the joint action of the stretching of the tension roller and the continuous alternating and repeated bending of the bending roller. The process of straightening is to make the strip under tension, when the strip is bent violently by the bending roller, the strip will produce elastic-plastic extension deformation due to the combined effect of bending stress and tensile stress, so that the three-dimensional shape defect can be eliminated, and then the residual curvature will be leveled by the straightening roller.

The action of the bending roller makes the single side of the strip steel subject to plastic extension deformation, and causes uneven stress on the entire cross section. According to this deformation principle, the strip steel with tension must pass through at least two bending rollers to uniformly extend the entire plate surface, and then pass through a straightening roller to redistribute and balance the residual stress. In order to meet the straightening needs of strip steel with different thickness, two sets of bending straightening rollers are set.
