The bending roller is composed of two or more bending rollers with small diameter, which makes the strip undergo severe repeated bending and deformation under tension, resulting in plastic extension of the strip to achieve the elongation required by the process.

2.2 tension roller group

The tension roller group is generally composed of tension rollers with S-shaped distribution at the entrance and exit, which is used to generate a certain tension in the strip. The line speed of the rear tension roller group is higher than that of the front tension roller group, and the tension of the strip steel is produced by the line speed difference. The function of the inlet tension roller is to increase the tension of the inlet section, so that the strip steel reaches the tensile force required for stretching, and the function of the outlet tension roller is to reduce the strip steel tension to the output value.

The number and arrangement of tension rollers are determined by the maximum tensile force and process site conditions required for strip stretch bending.
